Hello and once again it is time for the Hearth n Soul blog hop.
Thanks for joining us and sharing your food, philosophy and new discoveries. I learned a lot last week and I look forward to learning even more in the weeks ahead. If you are new, please read the Hearth and Soul mission statement page which includes the rules for linking up.
If you have any questions, just drop me a line at MomsSundayCafe@gmail.com.
I have decided to highlight some of the linked posts that caught my attention based upon our household needs and the areas we wish to learn more about and hopefully make changes.
I really liked this feature when I spied (and then stole!) it on Alea's blog, she also has a great article about making it easy for folks to leave a comment and or return an email to you. I hope you find it as helpful as I did. I love to return comments and so many times, this is not possible, but her article makes it is an easy fix.
And now, highlights from last week!
Watermelon Smoothies from Gluten Free A-Z. Delicious and what a great way to use up that last big chunk of melon!

Lentil Sloppy Jo's, made in the crock-pot. From Loving Life, another Wonderful Washington Blogger!

A nice meaty dinner is always delicious, but this one keeps the kitchen cool in the summer months.
And I love that all the vegetables used for flavor, were served as dinner, from Pinay in Texas.

Salad recipes are always on my radar and this one from Jolly Vindaloo looks delicious.

Rhubarb is my desire and my frustration, I love to eat it, but can't seem to grow it. Here is a pie from Rosy.

I will be busy in the kitchen a bit later, whipping up something to share in the food department, but right now wanted to share this little post I wrote, it is a simple meal for the soul. " A touch of serious..."
And now it is time to link up!
